Paternal Support Program (PSP)
Paternal Support Program (PSP), which supports East End parents with children from 0 through 5 years of age, by providing a continuum of services, both formal and informal, through clinical and medical interventions. The PSP curriculum is a 12-week culturally-congruent gender-specific support program designed to reduce feelings of sadness, thereby increasing levels of self-efficacy. The curriculum explores a variety of topics including parenting, relationships, domestic violence, fear and anxiety, relationships and friendships, and beauty. Our goals are to build community, provide support, share information, reduce depression and empower low-income parents.
